BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, NOV 24 – A total of 15 lucky draw winners were celebrated and received their prizes at the Lucky Draw Prize Presentation Ceremony for the 2023/2024 Audience Study which took place at the RTB Broadcasting Complex, Sungai Akar, yesterday.
According to a statement from Radio Television Brunei (RTB), the ceremony was a sign of appreciation for the participation and contribution of the study participants.
Present to complete the presentation of prizes to the celebrated winners was the Acting Director of RTB, Pengiran Haji Ismail bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad Kifli.
The ceremony was also attended by members of RTB’s Management Committee, officers and staff who reflected RTB’s shared commitment in achieving broadcasting excellence.
Head of Research and Development Division, Lim Kim Dien in his speech emphasized the importance of audience feedback in strengthening the RTB strategy as well as improving the quality of content and broadcasting programs to be more in line with the needs and preferences of the audience.
The study is an important initiative of RTB in its efforts to continue to engage the community, understand audience tastes and improve broadcasting services on television, radio and digital platforms.
The study was conducted from May 1 to August 31 and received an overwhelming response, proving the active involvement and trust of the community in the RTB initiative.
The results of the study provide valuable insight to RTB regarding the level of audience engagement, their expectations and media consumption patterns. That feedback is critical to evaluating the effectiveness of RTB content, identifying room for improvement and sparking innovation to stay relevant in an ever-changing media landscape.
The findings from the study will be a guide for RTB in refining its strategy to continue to provide quality programs that meet the needs of various layers of society in this country.
