BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, NOV 15 – As an effort to support local entrepreneurs in strengthening their business portfolio and expanding their product marketing network, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (Yayasan) has held Hari Bakarih Yayasan 2024 (HBY2024) which took place at Yayasan Complex, in country starting today until December 1.
In connection with that, the Launching Ceremony of HBY2024 was completed by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad as a Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Foundation’s Assistance Committee.
Also present at the ceremony was the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs, Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan.
HBY2024 is a business platform to introduce products produced by Usahawan Bakarih Yayasan, which are entrepreneurs born through the enterprise or business capital assistance program under the Yayasan Welfare Funding Scheme.
A total of 17 Bakarih Yayasan Entrepreneurs who run various companies participated in the sales activity.
HBY2024 is organized for the third time as an initiative of the Foundation to provide a strategic space to support local entrepreneurs in strengthening their business portfolio and expanding their product marketing network.
The initiative is in line with one of the strategic goals of the Foundation, which is to support the achievement of self-sufficiency levels by helping to increase the self-sufficiency level of the target group through entrepreneurship programs so that they are able to be independent, increase their personal potential and be able to improve their family’s standard of living.
HBY2024 was also joined by agencies that are strategic partners of the Foundation, namely Entrepreneurship Department of Community Development (JAPEM), Muallafpreneurs Consortium, PROPAZ and BIBD SEED.
Several businesses born through the program also participate in sales activities throughout HBY2024.
Apart from sales activities, various interesting activities are also prepared for visitors such as fun fair, archery, amazing raceface painting and henna, eating contest, making mini lego, making teh tarik, blood donation campaign, coloring contest and many more.
Part of event revenue fun fair will be donated to the Al-Muhtadee Billah Crown Prince Fund for Orphans (DANA).
HBY2024 is open to the public from 3pm to 9pm.
The public is welcome to come and liven up the event to support local entrepreneurs who are the target group of the Foundation who want to work, are willing to work for work.
