BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, NOV 21 – A total of 173 Year 6 students of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation Primary School (SR YSHHB) were celebrated at the Convocation Ceremony, Presentation of Prizes and Certificates of the Year 6 Best Student, 2024.
Leaving for the ceremony, Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Puteri Hajah Amal Nasibah.
Present as the guest of honor at the event which took place in the school’s multi-purpose hall was the Assistant Managing Director of the Brunei Investment Agency, Awang Ahmad Jefri bin Abdul Rahman, as a member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors.
At the ceremony, the Principal of the School, Hajah Mariam binti Haji Ladi, in her speech, among other things, shared the academic achievements of the students this year as a whole, which was at an excellent level.
He further said, “Although the main focus of Year 6 is academic excellence, the Foundation school always emphasizes the development of student character”.
The event also celebrated 12 Year 6 teachers who always work hard and provide motivation to students throughout their learning.
Among those who received gifts at the ceremony was the great-granddaughter of His Majesty Pengiran Anak Puteri Hajah Amal Nasibah, Pengiran Muhammad Abdul Haadee Mubasheer.
