Mandatory face masks for primary school children will be discussed by the National Public Health Emergency Team when it meets today.

However, it is not expected that NPHET will recommend any major changes to the Government this week.

Other items expected to be discussed by NPHET include, limits on the number of people allowed to sit at indoor hospitality tables, caps on household visits and a reduction in capacity at live events.
