Sky News host Chris Kenny says “the usual suspects fired up” after Liberal MP Bridget Archer crossed the floor in Parliament over the integrity commission issue.

“Twitter was ablaze with this photo, after the vote, when an upset Archer was sitting down, and Treasurer and Deputy Liberal leader Josh Frydenberg was speaking with her,” Mr Kenny said.

“Reality got a run when Bridget Archer herself tweeted.”

In the tweet, Ms Archer said: “Thank you to my very good friend Josh Frydenburg (sic) who was checking on my welfare here. Reports that he was lecturing me are in no way true. He is a good person and was being very kind to me".
