ITV Beat the Chasers’ Darragh Ennis breaks silence as co-star disappears

Darragh Ennis has broken his silence after a comment from an ITV The Chase viewer over the spin off programme.

Shaun Wallace was on the show alongside the Menace last night, but fans accused the show of not giving him much airtime.

Now Darragh, who is the new Chaser, has had his say over the backlash on social media.

A fan asked: “Beat the Chasers was good as always last night but what happened to Shaun?

“He hardly made an appearance. I will be watching again tonight.”

“Just how it panned out with the producers selection I think,” Darragh said.

“Hopefully he’ll get a few more games this time around.”

Bradley Walsh hosts as more studio audience members are called down to compete against the Chasers, choosing whether they play against two, three, four or all five quiz experts at once.

The show returns at 9pm to 10pm on Tuesday.

Carol Vorderman, Joel Dommett, Adrian Chiles, Samia Longchambon and Simon Weston take on six quiz experts as they try to secure prize money for their chosen charities tonight.

Other Chasers include Mark Labbett, also known as the Beast, as well as Anne Hegerty, the Governess, and Jenny Ryan, aka the Vixen. Paul Sinha – or the Sinnerman – completes the line up.
