A 42-year-old man was arrested in Paphos on Monday in connection to two incidents of burglary and theft.

According to Paphos police, the suspect is allegedly involved in two cases, which include stolen metal scaffolding and accessories from a warehouse in Ayia Marinouda valued at €10,000, and equipment worth €12,850 from a Chlorakas restaurant that had previously suspended its operation.

Members of the Paphos crime prevention unit responded immediately on both accounts, gathering evidence, and obtaining testimony, which helped track down the suspect.

He will be held in custody, as Paphos CID continue to investigate the case.
