Working life: – We need reasonable conditions to endure a full working life, says Sineva Ribeiro, head of the trade union Vårdförbundet.

The overtime refusal affects the whole country and primarily planned examinations and treatments.

Vårdförbundet wants to reduce the working hours of its members, and it is primarily on this issue that the parties have not agreed.

The employer’s side says that they have met the trade union in a number of areas, but that it is not relevant to meet the demand for a shorter working week. It will lead to huge costs and make it very difficult to get people, according to the employers’ organization Sveriges Kommuner och Regioner.
