CLEVELAND, Ohio — Browns linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah was carted off the field on Sunday in the third quarter of the Browns game against the Ravens.
The cart came out for Owusu-Koramoah after a tackle attempt on Ravens running back Derrick Henry at the end of a 10-yard run. Owusu-Koramoah led with his head and shoulder attempting to make the hit with 40 seconds remaining in the quarter.
Medical staff immobilized him and strapped him to a backboard while Browns teammates circled around him and fans chanted, “J-O-K.”
He held up his right first and pumped it as the cart was leaving the field.
Owusu-Koramoah is in his fourth season with the Browns after they selected him in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He signed a three-year, $39 million contract extension over the summer.
