WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Jordan Bani-Younes, with the Kansas Humane Society, introduced Earl, who is up for adoption, during Thursday’s Pet Project segment.
Earl came to the humane society as a stray. He is about a year old, fully grown, and weighs 20 pounds. He likes to be held and enjoys belly rubs. To see the animals up for adoption, click here.
Bani-Younes also discussed a fundraiser that KHS is hosting for the election. Less than a week remains to see whether the “DemoCats” or “RePuplicans” will gain control of the shelter in 2025. A $1 donation equals a vote. The “pawty” with the most votes wins the election. The funds raised go for vaccinations, microchips, medication, and animal care.
