BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, NOV 01 – The Royal Brunei Navy held a briefing at the Naval Training Center for the participants of the ASEAN United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) Workshop organized by the Max Planck Foundation for International Peace and Law which focuses on duties of the Royal Brunei Navy.
The event began with a welcome speech by the Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy, Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin.
The tour ended with a visit to the KDB DARULAMAN ship at Jeti Bravo, which gave the group an opportunity to interact with the crew, followed by an interesting cultural show presented by the crew.
German Ambassador Gerda Winkler and the visiting group expressed their appreciation for the visit which was the highlight of the workshop and increased their understanding of maritime issues.
