On Friday, the army announced that it had killed the movement’s prominent leader Ezzedine KassabDuring an air strike in Khan Yunis, south of the Strip Gaza.
The Israeli army described him as “one of the last prominent Hamas leaders responsible for coordination with other groups in the Strip.”
According to the Jerusalem News Agency, he was killed Israeli army Leaders Kassab and Ayman Ayesh, targeting a civilian car on Friday morning, in Khan Yunis.
Israeli forces have continued their air and land bombardment of the Gaza Strip for more than a year, during which they killed many Hamas leaders, most notably its leader, Yahya Sinwar.
On Friday, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli attacks killed at least 43,259 people in the Strip.
It was reported that the toll includes 55 people killed during the past 24 hours, while the total number of wounded rose to 101,827, since the start of the war on October 7, 2023.
