US oil exports reach their highest level ever

Data from the US Energy Information Administration showed, on Wednesday, that total exports of petroleum products rose by 1.3 million barrels per day on a weekly basis, which is the largest increase since the week ending June 7.

The previous record for total petroleum exports was also in the week ending June 7, at 7.5 million barrels per day.

The administration said that US net imports of crude rose by 1.7 million barrels per day during the same week.
