“She is a very dear family member to us and we will never stop our search. » Alexandra, a resident of the Chalais sector (Charente) is trying everything. To find her cat, Tilly, missing since June 22, this woman of British origin says she is ready to pay 1,000 euros in reward, according to a call for witnesses relayed by France Blue.
On the Facebook group dedicated to the search for lost black and white cats that she created, Alexandra Hunt explains: “It’s been four months since we lost our cat, Tilly. » Someone has taken her cat, she imagines. “As time goes by, we become more certain that someone took her believing she was a stray cat, or simply to drop her off far from home,” she wrote on the social network.
“She doesn’t deserve to be abandoned a second time”
According to the Brit, Tilly is “VERY probably” in La Rochelle (2 hours drive from Chalais) or Barbezieux-Saint-Hilaire (30 minutes drive). “There will be a reward of 1,000 euros for Tilly’s return or any information that leads us to find her,” promises the cat’s owner.
Alexandra Hunt also reassures potential witnesses. “If you have seen her and know where she is but don’t dare tell us, rest assured that you will be treated with the strictest confidentiality and kindness. » She calls on Internet users to send her a photo of the cat that they suspect of being Tilly “in order to confirm its identity”.
“We take the reunion of Tilly seriously,” writes the Briton, confirming her attachment to the small animal which has a black left front leg and a white right front leg. Alexandra Hunt explains that the cat was abandoned when she was “a very small baby” and that she “has known her since her first day of life”. “She doesn’t deserve to be abandoned a second time,” she said.
