BEACHWOOD, Ohio — Based on the results of a just-concluded city survey, respondents favor housing and/or a recreational use for the former Fairmount Temple property the city purchased in June for $8 million.
Because the 17-acre property at 23737 Fairmount Blvd. has had a special place in the lives of many residents, interest in what the city will ultimately do with the site was high. A community meeting held Thursday (Nov. 7) at city hall resulted in about 75 people attending in person, and a similar amount participating virtually.
