CLEVELAND, Ohio – How’s this for a holiday gift? The Cleveland Guardians are selling retired Progressive Field seats.
Seat pairs cost $300. A portion of proceeds will benefit Cleveland Guardians Charities. Go to CLEguardians.com/retiredseats.
Seating pairs will have a single batter on either the left or right-side stanchion and will be pulled from sections 103-125 and 169-179. Buyers will not be guaranteed a specific section, row or seat. Limit is one pair per person.
For those who need to measure their mancave, pairs are about 48 inches long, 31 inches tall and 16 inches deep. They weigh 70 pounds per set.
Seats must be picked up. Pickup window is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8 or Saturday, Dec. 14. The team said seats will not be stored, so if they are not picked up refunds will be given. Two individuals are required to carry the seats; Guardians employees will not be permitted to load seats into customer vehicles.
