BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, NOV 14 – The Examination Division, Department of Islamic Studies (JPI) as Trustee of the Brunei Religious Education Examination Board (LPPUB), has released the results of the Candidate Selection Examination for Arabic Schools (PCKSA) in the year 1445H/2024M.
According to a press release issued by JPI today sharing, a total of 1,651 candidates have sat for the PCKSA exam and of that number, a total of 429 candidates which is 25.98 percent have passed and will attend Year 5 studies in the relevant Arab schools for the recruitment session in 1446H /2025M compared to a total of 611 people (35.11 percent) graduating in 2023.
Of the total, 213 people (26.93 percent) are male candidates and 216 people (25.12 percent) are female candidates.
The statement also informed that the heads of religious teachers of government and private primary schools concerned should take the candidate’s decision for their respective schools on November 14 at the Examinations Division Office, JPI located on the Lower Level, Ministry of Religious Affairs (KHEU) Building, Jalan Dewan Majlis starting at 9 am.
Parents and guardians of candidates can contact the school where their child attends to find out the results of their respective children.
Accordingly, parents and guardians of candidates who pass this exam can take the registration form and admission to Arabic school at Arab schools for male candidates in the Brunei and Muara Districts at the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arab School. While for female candidates it is at Bandar Seri Begawan Arabic Preparatory School (SUAMPRIPAD Building).
In Tutong District, forms can be found at Brunei Tutong Islamic Mahad for male and female candidates, then Belait Arabic School for Belait District and Temburong Arabic School for Temburong District.
The form can be taken starting November 14 on weekdays from 8:30 am to 12 noon, and in the afternoon from 2 pm to 4 pm, while Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12 noon, and the deadline return the form on November 23.
Meanwhile, for parents and guardians of students from Al-Falaah School, they should take the registration and admission form to the Arabic school at Al-Falaah Sungai Akar School from November 14 and return the form to the school no later than November 21.
Meanwhile for exam candidates, parents and guardians who want to register to get exam results via short message service (SMS), can send an SMS using a mobile phone by typing KHEU (distance) REG (distance) Examination Center Number (distance) Index Number Nominate and send to 8885555 for DST customers, 38666 for Progresif Sdn Bhd customers or 39966 for imagine Sdn Bhd customers.
