BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, NOV 15 – With the aim of promoting compassion, gratitude and positive interaction among the community more broadly, Laksamana College of Business (LCB) celebrated the World Kindness Day which took place at the LCB Campus, recently.
The event, organized by the LCB Student Council, provides an opportunity for participants to share acts of kindness, record appreciation and support entrepreneurial efforts by leaving a message or message from the heart, fostering the spirit of appreciation and community to the wall of kindness.
In addition, the event also featured a unique sale where students and alumni showcased gifts of kindness that were creatively produced specifically for the event.
Local entrepreneurs including Bejo Coffee, Fatin’s Florette, Oh Yes Oven and The Afters Box also participated in the event where they offered a variety of handmade products, dishes and compositions.
One of the attractions of the event is the presentation of certificates to each entrepreneur who participated in the event in recognition of their contribution in building a supportive and uplifting community.
The event not only celebrated World Kindness Day but also highlighted LCB’s commitment to fostering an environment where students and staff feel valued and motivated.
One of the LCB Student Council representatives was quoted as saying that they believe a small act of kindness can generate a ripple effect that inspires all LCB citizens to instill compassion and respect throughout their lives.
The organization of LCB Kindness Day 2024 is also in line with the college’s values which involve community, empathy and social responsibility, encouraging the next generation of leaders to practice and promote goodness in the country and abroad.
