WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A Hallmark Keepsake Christmas tree ornament has been recalled because it might grow mold. The company says 16 customers have already complained about it happening.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the brown paint on the ornament did not fully dry before packaging, causing mold to grow. Mold can cause respiratory issues.

The ornaments sold for about $22 at Hallmark Gold Crown stores and Hallmark.com from September through October.
If you have the ornament, the CPSC and Hallmark say to stop using it immediately and do not open the ornament box.
