UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio — As both creators of Superman — Jerry Siegal and Joe Shuster — once lived in University Heights, the city chose as the theme for its annual civic awards program held Wednesday (Nov. 13) the latter portion of the updated Superman motto, “Truth, Justice, and a Better Tomorrow!”
The 2024 “A Better Tomorrow” awards program was held at John Carroll University and emceed for a second consecutive year by JCU graduate and 19 News reporter Rachel Vadaj.
