CLEVELAND, Ohio – Scribbles in my notebook as the Browns play New Orleans. The Browns are a 2-7 team with nearly a zero chance of making the playoffs. So now what?
1. When I was writing a series of three stories about the Browns at the bye week, I figured out this stat. Since Deshaun Watson came to the Browns, he has a 8-10 record as a starter. I am not crediting him with a 2023 victory over the Colts. Watson played only the first quarter. He played poorly and then he was injured. P.J. Walker led the Browns to that victory.
