Drunk driving: Tradewinds Drive
On November 8, a caller reported a man was passed out in the driver’s seat of a pickup truck on Tradewinds Drive near Windward Way. The man reported the driver woke up and began driving all over the road. Police caught up to the driver on Tradewinds Drive at Bayview Drive and conducted a traffic stop. The man was arrested and charged with drunk driving and open container.
Burglary: Aqua Marine Boulevard
A man called to report his girlfriend’s ex-husband showed up at residence unannounced while he and two moving company employees were moving out of residence on October 29. The complainant said the man pushed into the residence, threatened him, and damaged the
moving truck. He declined to pursue charges.
Warrant service: Miller Road
A driver was stopped for an equipment violation on November 9. A passenger was found to have an active warrant through Lorain Police and was arrested and transferred to the department’s custody.
Disturbance: Miller Road
On October 28, officers were dispatched to a disturbance.
Assault: Lear Road
On October 30, police responded to Eastview Elementary for a report of a boy being assaulted.
Theft: Mull Avenue
On November 4, a resident reported being scammed out of $900 in gift cards after a fraudulent phone call.
Menacing: Lake Road
On November 4 during an investigation, police determined a juvenile threatened to harm another student through social media. The offending student was charged and a report completed.
