Malam Munajat commemorating traffic accident victims

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 17 NOV – Allah SWT has given us the ability to control the vehicle and the power to control this vehicle is not us, not the driver, but all that is under the authority of Allah SWT.

If anything happens in the journey of this world, to Allah SWT we will return, and if we are safe, then say Alhamdulillah as a sign
gratitude

These matters are among those shared in the tazkirah delivered by the Assistant Lecturer of the Center for Jawi and Kitab Turath Studies, Seri Begawan Religious Teaching University College (KUPU SB), Awang Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ajak, from the Ash Shaliheen Mosque to further enhance the Special Munajat organized by the Ministry of Affairs Religion (KHEU) for the 160th time, yesterday.

The Special Munajat Program was also held in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Information Communications managed by the National Road Safety Council (MKKJR) in conjunction with World Road Traffic Victims’ Day 2024.

The event was also attended by the Minister of Religious Affairs, Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Director Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, from Surau KHEU and the Minister of Transport and Infocommunications, Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, as Chairman of MKKJR from Ash Shaliheen Mosque who also led the reading of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah.

Also participating, permanent secretaries and deputy permanent secretaries, as well as employees under KHEU, and the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications; and also members of MKKJR.

Also enlivening the event were teachers and students from religious schools under the Department of Islamic Studies, KHEU, as well as individuals who participated virtually.
After the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah, the event was followed by the recitation of Tahlil in large numbers led by the Special Nazir, Department of Islamic Studies, KHEU, Haji Abdullah bin Haji Sahat, from Surau KHEU.

While the Special Munajat Prayer was read by the Director of Hajj Affairs, Department of Hajj Affairs, KHEU, Haji Abdullah bin Haji Mohammad.

After tazkirah, the recitation of Selawat Tafrijiyyah was led by Level II Religious Teacher, Kampung Mata-Mata Religious School, Haji Mohammad Amirul Rashid bin Haji Wahab, together with the Islamic studies officer of Brunei Area 3, teachers and students of Beribi Religious School from Fathul Busyra Hall of Beribi Religious School.

The Prayer for the Protection of the Sultan and Brunei Darussalam was read by the Mosque Affairs Officer, Ash Shaliheen Mosque, Mosque Affairs Department, KHEU, Haji Mohammad Izzat Izuddin bin Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Emran, from Ash Shaliheen Mosque.
