BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, NOV 17 – Dayangku Aliah Hannah binti Pengiran Adanan was announced as the lucky customer by receiving a brand new Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid as the main prize for the campaign Transact & Win when the curtain of Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam’s (BIBD) Mega Carnival is awaited, tonight.
The carnival has been visited by more than 200,000 people in total starting from November 13 until tonight. What’s more, more than 22,000 entries were recorded for the campaign Transact & Win alone, highlighting the great success of the campaign and event in general.
In addition, there are many other attractive prizes including trips to perform Umrah, travel to Australia, Japan, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.
As one of BIBD’s biggest events of the year, the BIBD Mega Carnival brings together vendors, local businesses, stakeholders and thousands of visitors to showcase local talent, products and community spirit.
This inaugural event was also met with a very positive response from vendors and visitors, who praised the lively atmosphere and the support shown by local traders and entrepreneurs.
Looking back on the event, BIBD’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Awang Junaidi bin Haji Masri, thanked everyone involved.
“The overwhelming support we have seen at BIBD Mega Karnival is truly inspiring. It’s the first time we’ve held an event of this scale and it’s a privilege to see the community come together in such a meaningful way. We take note of all feedback and will strive to make future events more effective and enjoyable for all involved,” he said.
Awang Junaidi added that the BIBD Mega Carnival reflects the bank’s commitment to improving the domestic economy by encouraging local spending as well as their dedication to giving back to the community that supports the bank.
“This event is not only about fun and prizes but also about fostering economic activity by creating a platform for local businesses to shine,” he added.
Meanwhile for the campaign Apply & Winwhich started on November 1 and runs until the end of the carnival, has offered customers the chance to win a Lexus LBX Active and a selection of premium prizes, including LG Home Bundles, Apple Bundles and more.
The winners will be announced in early December.
