BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 18 NOV – Towards achieving the goal of producing educated, highly skilled and successful citizens, the Islamic Studies Department (JPI) through the Counseling Services Unit, Administration Division has held the ‘Kun Qawiyya’ Program (Be Strong) to foster the spirit of identity, cooperation, loyalty and unity among Arab school students recently.
The event held at Pantai Muara was attended by a total of 69 students from Year 9 to Pre-U1 consisting of Youth Peer Counselors (PRR) and Peer Counselors (PRS) from Arab schools.
Present as a special guest to present certificates and souvenirs was the Acting Director of Islamic Studies, Ministry of Religious Affairs (KHEU), Hajah Mariana binti Haji Jamil.
The event started with the recitation of Doa Selamat; posing for pictures; aerobics and then activities team building.
The program was organized in collaboration with Hassanal Bolkiah Boys’ Arabic Middle School, Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic School and Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Girls’ Arabic Religious Middle School.
