Fans’ wishes to see Misha Omar perform solo on stage will come true through the Misha Omar Back To Basic Showcase at Odeum At Jiospace, Petaling Jaya, on 21 December.
Despite choosing a small stage compared to three years ago when the first solo concert was staged at Istana Budaya, here, however, Misha promises the show will be entertaining and more importantly, intimate with the fans.
“Why the small-scale Misha Omar Back To Basic Showcase is not a mega concert is because I like to start things with small steps before printing a bigger history.
“This ‘Showcase’ is an appreciation for the fans who have never turned away from supporting my two-decade career in the world of singing.
“In fact, I organized this ‘showcase’ especially for fans who always ask when I will entertain them live,” he said today.
Misha who began to explode through the song Bunga-Bunga Cinta also described the ‘showcase’ as a ‘warm-up’ event before the mega concert was staged, reported BH Online.
“As an entertainer who has been in the music industry for two decades and is still able to remain relevant, it would be a lie if I said that I don’t have dreams of holding a large-scale concert.
“Irony, I myself am a singer who doesn’t care about the fact that I have been in the industry for a long time so I have to do concerts, but I prefer to work in stages.
“How do you know starting with this small-scale performance becomes the ‘door’ to a mega concert in the future? We pray together,” said the state-born singer Cik Siti Wan Kembang.
Explaining more about the ‘showcase’ concept organized by Double M Productions, Misha will entertain fans for 90 minutes accompanied by high-profile musicians. – Agency
