HOUSTON — Beyoncé will be home for the holidays to perform at the halftime show for the NFL’s Christmas Day matchup between the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens, which will be streaming live on Netflix.
Netflix announced the halftime performance Sunday. The game at NRG Stadium in Beyoncé’s hometown of Houston starts at 4:30 p.m. ET on Dec. 25.
“Your early Christmas wish has been granted as Beyoncé will perform during Netflix’s first-ever NFL Christmas Gameday,” the company said in a news release.
A promotion for the half-time show, shared on social media platform X, shows Beyonce standing on top of a rose-covered vehicle, wearing a leather dress, cowboy hat and throwing a football. This will be the third NFL halftime show for Beyoncé, who previously performed at Super Bowls in 2013 and 2016.
The Texans-Ravens game is one of two games that will mark the first time Netflix livestreams an NFL Christmas gameday contest. Prior to the Ravens-Texans game, Netflix will livestream the Kansas City Chiefs against the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 p.m.
Last week, Netflix live-streamed a boxing match between social media star Jake Paul defeated legendary boxer Mike Tyson that was watched by 60 million households around the world.
“The boxing mega-event dominated social media, shattered records, and even had our buffering systems on the ropes,” Netflix said on X.
