Actress Diana Danielle regretted receiving negative reactions from netizens after telling her that she is now more comfortable getting closer to Allah SWT to complain about all her sorrows.
Responding to the comments received, Diana or Diana Danielle Danny Beeson, 33, thinks that no individual has the right to look down on someone who is struggling to change himself for the better.
“Since I shared that prayer is my source of strength, the first reaction is often, ‘cover your private parts first’.
“Is it that if I am not perfect, I am not worthy to pray? Do not associate perfection with practice. Everyone is struggling with themselves and fighting against their own passions.
“The important thing is that we are all working towards goodness. Avoid belittling anyone who is trying to change,” he said in a post on Threads on Monday.
In the meantime, Diana also thinks that praying is the first way for someone to become a better person.
In fact, it is not a strange thing if done by a woman who has not yet worn the hijab like herself.
“Why should it be strange when people without hijab tell them to pray? Everyone has a different test. Prayer is a sign of awareness to change and become better.
“Sinful or not, it is better for us to continue our spiritual practice because getting closer to God will never be in vain,” he said.
Previously, Diana told through an interview that she was able to go through the divorce process with actor Farid Kamil more calmly after expressing all her feelings while prostrating.
She also hopes to improve herself to become a better Muslim in that way.
On October 28, Diana surprised many when she announced that she would file for divorce against Farid after a year of dating.
The couple got married in November 2012 and were blessed with two children namely Muhammad, 11, and Nur Aurora who is now 9 years old. – Agency
