LORAIN, Ohio — One person was wounded and a suspect is in custody after a reported stabbing Monday afternoon at the main branch of the Lorain Public Library.
According to police, officers were called to the main branch at 351 W. Sixth St. just after 2 p.m. When they arrived, officers found one male bleeding heavily and another male being restrained by a library security guard.
No details were released on what might have led to the stabbing. Police say the incident is under investigation and charges are expected to be brought against the suspect.
The wounded male was taken to Mercy Health Hospital in Lorain. No information was available on his condition.
