Jin’s BTS solo album sets a Spotify record

BTS member, Jin, continues to make huge strides in his solo career as he achieves the biggest solo debut on Spotify with his title track, Running Wildfrom his new album, Happyshare the site Soompi.

On November 15, Running Wild recorded 4,936,542 views in the first 24 hours after launch, thus ranking 8th on the chart Global Top Songs daily Spotify.

The achievement broke Jin’s personal record, surpassing the previous highest position, which was a song I’ll Be There which was in ninth place last month.

All songs in the album Happy also managed to enter Spotify’s daily chart. Apart from the song Running Wild and I’ll Be There (remains in 20th place), Heart on the Windowa duet with Wendy from the group Red Velvet, reached number 99, followed Another Level, Falling and I will come to you.

Song Running Wild also achieved success in Japan when it topped the Oricon daily digital chart, while all the songs on the album Happy ranked in the top 20. Song Falling ranks ninth, I’ll Be There on the 11th step, followed by a song Heart on the Window, I will come to you and Another level.

Also, the album Happy also recorded Jin’s highest first-day sales record as a solo artist, with total sales reaching 852,409 copies according to the Hanteo chart. It surpassed the previous record set by the song The Astronaut in 2022 with 770,126 copies. – Agency
