NEWTON, Kan. (KSNW) – Fire crews in Newton are currently battling a large chicken barn fire.
Newton Fire/EMS was called out to the 1400 Block of N. West Rd. after an explosion was reported.
“Water tenders from surrounding communities are responding to provide water supply for firefighting operations,” said Newton Fire/EMS.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
