Theft, Hilliard Blvd.
On Oct. 29 a resident of the Hilroc Condos reported that his car was missing from the parking lot. Officers checked the lot and the cameras in the area. The black Toyota Camry was seen on cameras overnight and was determined to be stolen. An investigation is ongoing, and the car has not been found.
Injury
On Oct. 29 a 26-year-old man reported that he accidentally stabbed himself in the leg. He said he was on the porch doing a woodworking project and the knife he was using slipped and sliced his leg approximately three to four inches long and required stitches. He was taken to Fairview Hospital by ambulance where he was treated for his injuries.
Theft, Center Ridge Road
On Nov. 4 Giant Eagle employees reported two women they suspected of shoplifting had just left the store and took off in a car. An officer was able to stop them in the Arby’s parking lot. One of the women had several outstanding warrants. During a search of the car, suspected illegal drugs were also found. Both women were arrested without incident.
