Another cold morning in Kansas with morning temps in the 20s and low 30s. You will need the coats as you head out the door!
Sunny skies and light winds will turn us more comfortable by afternoon, with highs reaching into the middle 50s for Wichita. Some places in western Kansas may push closer to 60 degrees!
Cold again tonight, lows in the 20s and 30s.
The weekend will turn milder with 50s giving way to 60s on Saturday!
It will be a bit breezy at times, but the milder temps will help to make for picturesque outdoor days both Saturday and Sunday.
A cold front will be on the way in by Monday morning, and this drops temperatures across Kansas into the 40s to start next week.
A series of weak disturbances will move through after Monday’s cooldown, but these will only have limited moisture potential. Tuesday into Wednesday may see a few light showers with some snowflakes mixed in.
Colder air arrives for Thanksgiving Day, and if any moisture hangs around then we may be able to change over to a wintry mix. Chances of this remain low for the time being.
Below average temperatures remain favored into the following weekend.
Chances of moisture will also remain in the picture during this time, so we will be watching for any opportunities that wintry weather may try to visit Kansas toward the end of the month.
