COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State’s path back to the Big Ten Championship is simple, though easier said than done.
All the Buckeyes have to do is get through a third top-five opponent of the season, then beat a rival they haven’t beaten since pre-COVID-19. The good news is that both of those games are in Ohio Stadium.
There aren’t many people outside of Bloomington, Indiana, who were predicting that the Hoosiers would be in this position back in October. But hea Curt Cignetti has turned them into a threat in Year 1 with the best season in program history.
Now all it’s missing is one thing, a quality win to keep everyone from poking holes in a resume still without a loss. Saturday provides the only real chance to get that against an OSU team trying to create a gap between itself and Oregon compared to the rest of the country.
As Ohio State heads into another top-five matchup, Stephen Means, Stefan Krajisnik and Andrew Gillis will each be looking for something specific within the game. Check out the video below to see what intrigues the crew in Week 12.
