LINCOLN, Neb. – With a bowl bid on the line, the Nebraska Cornhuskers host the Wisconsin Badgers today – Saturday, Nov. 23 – at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska. This game is available on multiple streaming services for free.
This Big Ten game will broadcast live on Big Ten Network at 3:30 p.m. Eastern. (2:30 p.m. Central). Fans without cable can catch the game at no cost via FuboTV or DirecTV Stream, which both offer free trials. FuboTV is also offering $30 off your first month.
Another option is SlingTV, which has promotional offers for new customers.
The Cornhuskers (5-5, 2-5 Big Ten) are coming off a 28-20 loss to the USC Trojans, which stretched their losing streak to four games. They once again find themselves on the threshold of bowl eligibility, something they have not achieved since 2016.
A promising 5-1 start seems like a distant memory for head coach Matt Rhule and Co.
Nebraska is guided by freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola, who has thrown for 2,112 yards, 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He has thrown at least one interception in five straight games.
Raiola is adjusting to new offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen’s mechanics.
Senior Isaiah Neyor leads the receiving core, tallying 28 receptions for 426 yards and five touchdowns while averaging 15.2 yards per reception. Freshman Jacorey Barney Jr. has hauled in 40 receptions for 317 yards.
Senior running back Dante Dowdell could be poised for a big afternoon against a suspect run defense. Dowdell has garnered 120 carries for 523 yards and eight touchdowns. Sophomore running back Emmett Johnson has notched 68 carries for 339 yards and one touchdown.
The Cornhuskers’ defense has not held an opponent under 21 points since Oct. 5.
Senior defensive lineman TY Robinson has tallied 17 solo tackles six sacks and one forced fumble. Senior John Bullock has nabbed 28 solo tackles with three sacks, once forced fumble and one interception.
Nebraska freshman kicker John Hohl began the season with a dismal display. He has made his last five field goal attempts, including a 54-yard bomb. Coincidentally, Wisconsin junior kicker Nathaniel Vakos has also made his last five kicks, including a 50-yard boot. This one could come down to their clutch moment.
Nebraska is 0-8 in its last chances to clinch bowl eligibility. This is their last chance to do it at home on Senior Day. The fanbase is getting restless with the inconsistent rollercoaster of a season. Three of their last four losses have come down to one possession.

The Badgers (5-5, 3-4) emptied the chamber in a gutsy effort against the top-ranked Oregon Ducks on Nov. 16, ultimately falling, 16-13, for their third consecutive loss.
Wisconsin fired offensive coordinator Phil Longo after the painful close call. Head coach Luke Fickell revealed multiple coaches will have those duties for the Nebraska game.
Wisconsin turns its attention to Nebraska, who the Badgers have defeated 10 consecutive times, capturing the Freedom Trophy.
Sophomore quarterback Braedyn Locke, who threw for just 96 passing yards and one score, almost found a way against Oregon. He has 1,514 yards with nine touchdowns and nine interceptions. He has turned the ball over in seven of his last eight games.
Locke has a knack for finding his man in the slant down field, which Nebraska will need to limit to keep the pedestrian offense from advancing.
Senior running back Tawee Walker was special under the lights of Madison against the Ducks, nearly rushing for 100 yards. Walker touts 162 carries for 773 yards and 10 touchdowns. He averages 4.8 yards per carry. The Badgers average 169 rushing yards per game.
Wisconsin’s defense played the game of its life, holding Oregon to a season-low 16 points. But there are spots to exploit, especially in the run defense. They are allowing 161 rushing yards per game and 4.6 yards per carry.
One team will finally get their elusive sixth win and salvage a season of disappointment.
