Temperatures today were well above average across the state. Highs reached into the 60s for most with sunny skies and breezy winds out of the south.
Tonight will be mild. Temperatures fall back into the 30s and 40s by daybreak. Southerly winds will help to keep southcentral Kansas warmer than the rest of the region.
With light winds tomorrow morning, patchy fog will be possible out the door across central Kansas. Make sure to have your headlights on as you head to church.
Sunday will be another warm one. Highs tomorrow will reach the 60s across the region with winds slowly becoming northerly through the evening with partly cloudy skies.
Temperatures crash for the start of the workweek as we go from the 60s on Sunday to the 40s on Monday. The passing cold front will bring cold, dry air from the north and push temperatures below the norm for the rest of the week.
We will see multiple rounds of reinforcing cold air throughout the week that will help keep temperatures cool. The front that arrives on Wednesday looks to be the strongest and could bring the possibility of moisture along with it. Temperatures will be cold enough during the evening and overnight for some to see a rain and snow mixture.
Accumulation of snowfall is not looking likely and travel will not be greatly impacted for those hitting the road ahead of Thanksgiving. Temperatures will be chilly for the holiday with highs in the 40s and mostly cloudy skies.
Another strong push of cold air will arrive by next weekend. This will keep temperatures trending colder through the start of December.
