Intruder arrested after being found in the garage: Olmsted Falls police blotter

OLMSTED FALLS, Ohio

Unwanted guest: Sprague Road

On November 14 around 3 am, a woman called police from Parma to report a man was in her house and that he might have broken in. Police checked the exterior and the home was secure. She gave permission to enter the home and they kicked the door in. The house was clear but the intruder was found in the garage and arrested.

Unwanted guest: Bagley Road

On November 15 around 2 am, an officer responded to the Taco Bell in Berea for a report of a man who was giving employees a hard time and wouldn’t leave. Police were unable to locate the driver.

Traffic stop: Columbia Road

A driver was stopped for a warrant out from Streetsboro Police on November 15, He was turned over into their custody.

Harassment: Devonshire Drive

On November 16, a caller reported receive 20 calls from a man the day before and had started calling again. She was unable to block the calls.

Agency assist: Bagley Road

On November 17, police assisted on a call to Suds Maguire’s Bar & Grill for a report of two people harassing an employee. They had been kicked out the day before and came back and were yelling at the complainant. The suspects left the premises and the manager did not want to press charges. Police located them and they were advised not to return.

Neighbor complaint: Cook Road

A man reported on November 17 that his new neighbors keep turning around in his driveway. Police spoke to the neighbors and advised them not to go on the property again.

General assist: Lake of the Falls Boulevard

On November 17, a woman reported a man and children sleeping in their car near her door. She made the same complaint the following day. The man’s mother lives in one of the units, police checked on him and he was not doing anything illegal.

Injury crash: Columbia Road

On November 19, a driver hit a stone wall and rolled the car. Callers reported the accident and said the man appeared disoriented and was bleeding. He was extricated from the car, and the car was towed.

Reckless operations: Columbia Road

A caller reported a driver swerving all over the road before pulling into the gas station on November 17. Police followed the driver and didn’t see any violations.
