Storm Track 3 Forecast: One more mild Sunday, then turning cold for the week

Waking up to mild temperatures this morning in central Kansas, while western portions of the state are considerably chillier.

Storm Track 3 Forecast: One more mild Sunday, then turning cold for the week

Keeping the trend of pleasant days going, we head for the 60s in Wichita again today. It will be a bit breezy at times, but you should spend a little time outside today! The cold is coming back tonight.

A cold front will drop temperatures into the 20s and 30s tonight as gusty north winds take over.

Expect to wake up cold and stay cold Monday as northwest winds continue to bring the chill.

Clouds increase on Tuesday and despite a small warmup, we stay chilly with additional pushes of cold air through the week.

A passing storm system will try to wring a little moisture from the sky on Wednesday, with spotty showers expected across Kansas. These may be able to switch over to snow especially if they persist after dark Wednesday evening.

Thanksgiving will be cold and windy, with highs in the low 40s.

More cold air is expected to follow into next weekend, so that means today will be our last 60 degree day for November. Live it up while it lasts!
