BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, NOV 24 – The importance of family relationships must be based on sincerity, hoping for the peace of Allah SWT, that is, before hoping for the peace of man.
In fact, family relationships must be based on piety, fear of the consequences when in the realm of barzakh and the afterlife, that is, before the fear of violating laws and regulations arises.
While morals are commendable as a servant of God who always repents, fears, asceticism, patience, gratitude, sincerity, trust, love, calms down and remembers death plus taking care of prayer and living the teachings of Islam God willing, family life will be full of blessings.
This matter was among the tazkirah delivered by the Senior Religious Officer, Syariah Affairs Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs (KHEU), Haji Saharuddin bin Haji Patra from Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque to brighten up the 161st Malam Munajat organized by KHEU, last night.
Present as a special guest at the event was Awang Muhammad Ashim Amrullah bin Abdul Rahman Menchok as a member of the Temburong New Brothers Association (PESAT) who also led the reading of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah from the Sibut Village Worship Hall, Temburong District.
Co-chairing the event are PESAT members; mosque youth and takmir committee members (AJKT) from Kampung Belais Mosque, Temburong District, Kampung Sungai Liang Mosque, Belait District, and Kampung Saba Ibadat Hall; as well as several mosques, suraus and worship halls throughout the country.
In addition, employees of the Sharia Affairs Department at the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque; KHEU employees with their families; and individuals also participate virtually from their respective homes.
After the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah, the event was followed by the recitation of Surah Yasin led by Level II Religious Teacher, Bokok Religious School, Temburong District, Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamzah; with the youth of the mosque and AJKT from Kampung Belais Mosque, Temburong District.
While the Doa Munajat was recited by the Senior Officer of the Household Counseling Service, Department of Syariah Affairs, KHEU, Awang Mohammad Dini bin Haji Morsidi from the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque.
After the tazkirah, the event was followed by the recitation of Asmaul Husna en masse led by the youth from Kampung Sungai Liang Mosque, Belait District, Awang Mohamad Hadi Saifullah bin Abdul Rahim.
Before ending the event, the Prayer for the Protection of the Sultan and the State of Brunei Darussalam was read by Level II Imam, Department of Mosque Affairs, KHEU, Awang Shahrin bin Haji Matnor from Kampung Saba Ibadat Hall.
