BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, NOV 24 – A total of 22 Muslim women of Kampung Lambak Berakas Mosque, today, were celebrated in the Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony held at the mosque.
Present as the guest of honor at the ceremony was the Senior Religious Officer in the Muslim Affairs Division at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Dayang Noraini Yanti binti Haji Hussin.
The ceremony organized by the Muslimah of the mosque aims, among other things, to instill the spirit to get closer to the Al-Quran, in addition to inculcating the practice of reading the Al-Quran to achieve the pleasure of Allah SWT.
At the ceremony, Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Khatam were recited by Dayang Dr Zati Hanani binti Dato Seri Setia Haji Rajid and were graced with readings from the Selawat Lovers Group.
