CLEVELAND, Ohio — Yet again, Glenville’s quest for a third straight OHSAA Division IV state football championship comes with a big-play quarterback standing in the way.
In three weeks, the Tarblooders (11-3) have taken down an unbeaten West Branch team with a dual threat behind center before picking off an All-Ohio quarterback five times in their 28-0 shutout of Lake Catholic — another undefeated team before meeting Glenville — and then last week came Walter Moses and defending Division V state champion Perry, which moved up to D-IV and met them in the Region 13 final.
