BEREA, Ohio — The Browns were able to shut out Steelers edge rusher T.J. Watt in their Thursday Night Football win last week. Watt has wrecked Browns gameplans in the past, so it was an impressive feat.
Shutting down Watt was a combination of scheme and a high level of play from right tackle Jack Conklin.
Cleveland.com film expert Lance Reisland took a look at the different ways the Browns were able to slow Watt on Thursday night, using two examples from the game and another example from the Saints game to show what they were able to do to keep Watt and the Steelers pass rush at bay.
