VIENTIANE, NOV 28 – Laos has launched the Green City Action Plan for 2023-2030 in its capital, Vientiane, with the aim of making the city a sustainable, climate-resilient and environmentally friendly urban environment by 2030.
The plan focuses on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving waste management, resource conservation, and biodiversity protection to address challenges such as increasing air pollution, traffic congestion and vulnerability to climate change, the report said. Laos National TV today.
