ATHENS, 28 NOV – At least four migrants lost their lives after a refugee boat capsized on the Greek island of Samos, broadcaster reported ERT yesterday, citing the coast guard.

The nationalities of the individuals involved were not initially disclosed.
Three days ago, eight migrants, including six minors, drowned in Samos while trying to reach Greece and enter the European Union (EU).
According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), nearly 56,000 migrants had arrived in Greece from Turkiye by Sunday, compared to 49,000 arrivals last year.
Reception and registration camps on the islands of Lesbos, Chios, Samos, Leros and Kos are almost fully occupied. – Named
