BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, NOV 29 – A total of 163 outstanding students were celebrated in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Outstanding Children Award Ceremony which took place at the Auditorium of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Defense Academy (AP ABDB), Kampung Tanah Jambu, today.
The ceremony was held to appreciate the achievements of the children of ABDB members for the years 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Present to complete the award presentation was the Commander of the Royal Air Force, Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan.
Also present at the ceremony were members of the ABDB Executive Committee, senior officers, parents and guardians of the award recipients.
At the event, the celebrated students received certificates and prizes for their excellent results in the General Certificate of Education (GCE) ‘A’ Level, GCE ‘O’ Level, Brunei Religious Education Certificate (SPUB), Brunei Religious Higher Education Certificate (SPTUB), Certificate of Religious Primary Schools (SSSRU) and Primary School Evaluation (PSR).
The ceremony is an annual event that aims to give appreciation to the children of ABDB officers and members who have obtained excellent academic achievements and as an encouragement so that they will continue to strive towards driving success.
In addition, meetings like this are also an encouragement to ABDB members to continue to commit to paying attention to children’s learning towards supporting the goals of Brunei Vision 2035, especially in producing educated, highly skilled and successful citizens.
