Actor Go Hyun Jung regrets not making an effort to see and spend time with his two children.
Hyun Jung, 53, said the sadness he felt was so painful that his heart felt empty.
“Many people wonder if I will be able to see my children.
“I never lived with them so I felt shy and isolated when I was next to them.
“I never realized how broken my heart was when I didn’t have the chance to be with them.
“The feeling of loss cannot be filled and it hurts,” he said.
Hyun Jung shared the sadness on the talk show You Quiz on the Block on Wednesday.
Talking further, Hyun Jung described herself as an irresponsible mother.
In fact, the actress revealed, every day she cries but no one knows about it.
“I feel like I am a very irresponsible person.
“I thought I had given everything, but I realized there was a leak in my life.
“I always cry but I can’t do it in front of other people,” he said.
For the record, Hyun Jung married Chung Yong Jin who is the chairman of Shinsegae company in 1995 but divorced in 2003.
As a result of their life sharing, they were blessed with two children namely Chung Hae Chan, 28, and Chung Hae In, 24.
After the divorce, Hyun Jung lost custody of her children. – Agency
