Crime and justice: The man in his 30s must have done hidden recordings of the students for over ten years, reports Adresseavisen. He was arrested on 3 May last year and recently state prosecutor Eli Reberg Nessimo brought charges against the man.

He is charged with aggravated rape of a boy under the age of 14 and for sexual relations between “other relatives”. According to the indictment, the assaults must have occurred on several occasions between 2019 and 2022. The man is also accused of sexual acts with another boy under the age of 14.

– Early in the investigation, the defendant has largely acknowledged the facts in the case, says Nessimo.

The man is also charged with producing and possessing sexual assault material. According to the description of the crime in the indictment, on several occasions in the period January 2012 to February 2022, the man filmed students when they showered naked at two schools in Trøndelag. The recordings were made covertly using a mobile phone.

The man’s defender, Elisabeth Aae, states that she cannot comment on the case now, but refers to an earlier comment:

– The accused is aware of the seriousness of the case and is sorry that he has hurt people around him, said deputy attorney Maria Brun Haugnes on behalf of the man last year.

The case is heard in Trøndelag district court in Trondheim, over three days from 13 May.
