Aaron Aziz is willing to spend big for his children’s education

Actor Datuk Aaron Aziz did not expect to spend a lot of money for his second daughter, Dwi Ariana, who is continuing her studies in the field of Forensic Psychology at the University of Surrey, England.

Although his son received a scholarship of RM20,000, Aaron or Aaron Mustapha Aziz, 48, said he still had to pay the rest. Aaron said, for the cost of his son’s education, it costs RM140,000 a year and Dwi will live in the country for four years.

“He (Dwi) got a scholarship but only around RM20,000 and the rest we paid for ourselves. For a year the cost of the study is RM140,000,” he told mStar.

Meanwhile, Aaron said he does not mind spending a lot on education because he is confident that the children’s livelihood will not end.

“But for me we can find money. So far, Alhamdulillah, there is only sustenance from God to give me. When I spend a lot of money for my children’s education, there must be other sustenance that I get, sometimes even more than what is spent.

“As parents, if we are capable and have sustenance, don’t count on children’s education to pursue their dreams in life,” he explained.

Despite providing everything for the children, Aaron said he still teaches them to live independently when abroad.

“Dwi had to move out of the dormitory and had to find his own accommodation in the second year of studying there. He is also allowed to work while studying there, which means he can work 20 hours a week. I teach the children, not everyone who asks Daddy (Aaron’s name) will get it, so he has to learn to find money on his own and not just ask for money,” he said.

Last July, Dwi successfully completed his A-Level studies at Kolej Tuanku Ja’afar, Negeri Sembilan.

For the record, Aaron married Datin Diana Halik in 2003 and this couple is blessed with three children, namely Danish Anaqi, 19, Dwi Ariana, 18, and Dahlia Arissa, 14. – Agency
