ADO Den Haag lost to Heracles Almelo on Monday in the battle for the third period title in the Kitchen Champion Division. The visitors were 3-0 too strong for coach Dick Advocaat’s team in the Bingoal Stadium.
In the eleventh minute, the opening goal in The Hague was scored by Heracles striker Nikolai Laursen, who gave the visitors a 0-1 lead with a striking header.
Justin Hoogma doubled the score just before half-time. After a blunder by ADO goalkeeper Sonny Stevens, the Heracles defender pushed the ball in from close range. After the break, Ismail Azzaoui scored the decisive goal in the 83rd minute.
After the painful defeat, ADO, which did not shoot once in the entire match, is two points behind Almere City, which is at the top in the third period.

Willem II gives away the lead at Young AZ
Willem II was surprised during a visit to Jong AZ in extra time: 2-2. Willem II striker Elton Kabangu opened the score in the seventh minute with a beautiful shot with the left.
