Aminur was voted for by Village Head Mumong A

BELAIT, 17 NOV – Awang Aminur bin Othman was voted as the new village head of Kampung Mumong A at the Voting and Selection Ceremony for the Head of Mumong A held at the Community Hall of Kampung Pandan, Belait District, today.

Present as the guest of honor at the ceremony was the Acting Belait District Officer, Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad.

Also present were members of the National Assembly, the Honorable Mohammad bin Abdullah @ Lim Swee Ann, and Awang Mohammad Haazeq bin Arsad, as representatives from the Ministry of Home Affairs (KHEDN).

Voting today using the paper ballot method while voting using the PMKK e-Vote application started on November 15, with physical voting held at the Kampung Pandan Community Hall today.

As the sole candidate for the position, Awang Aminur is a BGCE O Level graduate and currently works as a Grade I Tradesman in the Public Works Department, Ministry of Development.

Among the 59 votes issued during the session, seven people voted through the PMKK e-Vote application while another 52 voted physically, and no invalid votes were recorded during the vote counting session.

The results obtained will be presented to the Board of Personnel, Discipline and Discipline of Penghulu Mukim and Village Heads, KHEDN for further processing.

The same voting session will continue to be held throughout Belait District, with voting for Pandan C Village Head scheduled from November 29 to December 1.
